Description

L'Esbotzada is a youth centre offering a setting for creation, projects, information, strength and guidance. In fact any concerns that may arise to the Young. It is also a work space where young people can work , dream up projects, and build leisure activities. It also offes guidance on careers, housing, drug use, sexuality and other matters.

Thus, a range of activities, courses, talks and workshops for young people to meet their training needs, leisure or work with the aim to help the youth to come out of situations at times when they might feel stuck.
An added advantage is the location – central in town - there is a large public car park which may double as a space for outdoor events.

Information and Services
Assessment and information – A space where youth will find leaflets and brochures about study and training courses to further the guidance and assessment given at Institut d’Educació Secundària (Secondary School)
Youth Guarantee - counseling and support service for young people aged 16 to 29 programme. Addressed to those youth who are currently unemployed or not in a study course (two Thursdays a month)

A project with the GENTIS foundation. This programme has the aim to develop access to the work market, training and employment mediation services, offering them free of charge to facilitate employability for youth seeking work.

Networking room - Group work space with computer facilities. Prior reservation is required to use the computers (1 hour per youth max)

Leisure room - Space with foosball table. Previous booking required (open from Tuesday to Friday, 5 pm to 6.30 pm)

Main Room - Multipurpose Space. A room with endless possibilities for setting up high attendance activities. A board games corner is also available.
