All the festivities scheduled in l'Escala are organized with children in mind, as a result of which our events diary includes many options with children's entertainment groups, workshops, shows and activities specially designed for children.

The Carnival
Enjoy the Carnival in L'Escala, featuring floats and groups of dancers in costumes filling streets with colour.

Mediterranean Triumvirate
A Greco-Roman fair with a craftwork market, shows and workshops.

Children's entertainment
Over the high season months, numerous children's activities are held in Riells area and the old town, including foam parties, clown shows, musical performances, as well as many other events.

Festa Major (Local Festival)
We celebrate the Festa Major to honour Santa Maxima, L'Escala's patron saint. A five day long festival full of events and activities, many of which are designed for children.

Salt Festival
A festival in withc locals commemorate and pay tribute to L'Escala's fishing and salting origins.

Trifàsic
This is a Christmas children's indoor playground with plenty of games. It is set up at the Multi-purpose Hall towards the end of December, and it is a great place for kids'fun over the school Christmas holidays.

Three Wise Men's Arrival
Every January 5th , the Three Wise Men (Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar) arrive by boat at the town centre beach. Their pages' torches, the beating of drums and the shining lanterns carried by children create an incomparable setting to receive Their Majesties' arrival, turn L'Escala's town centre beach into a unique setting worthy of appearing on a Christmas card.
