The train known as El Carrilet runs over the summer season and links Sant Martí d'Empúries hamlet to L'Escala and Montgó .
Schedule 2023
From Easter to June 18th: works on a low season reduced schedule only on weekends (check the reduced schedule at the tourism office) .
From June 19th to July 9th , works on a low season reduced schedule, every day .
The Schedule will be:
De 10 a 14H //// 15h a 19h July 10th , works on a normal timetable (from 8 am to 12 pm )
There are two routes:
Plaça de les Escoles - Montgó Cove (and back)
Cala Montgó - Càmping Illa Mateua - Càmping Cala Montgó - Avda Montgó/Rotonda càmpings - Planasses - Sibilia de Fortià / Escola de Vela - Càmping Maite - Can Rabassa - Riells/ Univers - Els músics/Passeig - Plaça del Peix/Platja - Pàrking Can Parals - Plaça de les Escoles
Plaça de les Escoles - Sant Martí d'Empúries (and back)
Sant Martí d'Empúries - Les Muscleres - Hostal Spa Empúries - Alberg - Pàrking Francesc Macià - La Creu/L'Oberta - Plaça del Peix - Pàrking Can Parals - Plaça de les Escoles
Fare: €2.5 per journey
Residents : € 1.5 ( Must show ID card or Residence permit)
The schedule is approximate as it may vary due to traffic or congestion, it's recommended to be at the stop 5 minutes early.
