This is a rocky beach, in the area of les Planasses (between the Port and Montgó point).

Description

BEACH CLOSED .A rocky beach, located in les Planasses (between the harbour and Montgó point). Les Planasses forms part of the area of the Montgrí Natural Park , les Medes Islands and the Baix Ter. This area is renowned for the abundance of flora and a remarkable landscape of cliffs for practising climbing (deep-water soloing) and small coves.

This beach is ideal for practising diving. There is a famous sunken vessel here, the Constantin / Cotetin. It is also one of the end points of one of the Vies Braves of l’Escala for open sea swimming.
